DIVING CONDITIONS

The visibility is very very good: from 20 meters to 50. No worries, if you are unlucky and go for diving the only day with bad visibility, this means that the water is full of plankton. So you might have great chance to encounter whale sharks, feeding from those little organism. Sea currents can be very strong. Indeed, near the passes of atolls, the currents are so strong that they bring large specimens. It is therefore necessary and mandatory to have a signaling system on the surface. Difficulty differs depending on the dive sites. There is places for every level, from simple beginners to the most experienced divers. For novice divers, Vaavu Atoll is perfect for admiring manta rays (on the site of Fotteyo Kandu, from May to July). For the one seeking for challenge, the Kuredu Express dive site, located on the Lhaviyani Atoll, will add some action to your dives. The water temperature is almost the same throughout the year. It varies between 26°C and 30°C.

Profitez bien ;)
