Diving in El Hierro with Meridiano Cero
The diving club Meridiano Cero is located in El Hierro, the most western island of the Canary Islands. The dive center, about 90 square meters and located 100 meters from the port of La Restinga, is run by Claude Federal Instructor 1st degree, National Instructor CMAS 2 *, Instructor PADI, Céline Federal Instructor 1st degree, Instructor PADI and Instructor CMAS 2 * and his team. They welcome you all year round whether you are a beginner or experienced divers to share and discover the extraordinary seabed of the island. The clear waters allow to admire tortuous underwater seascapes, a rich and diversified fauna, but also sometimes to meet large pelagic fish like devil rays or sharks. It is the ideal place to start with a discover scuba diving course. The diving center also offers CMAS training courses 1,2,3; PADI Open water diver, advanced, rescue and Divemaster, but also half day or day trips. The best dive sites of El Hierro are only 15 minutes by boat from the dive center. The boat, a 200 hp semi-rigid, can take up to 12 divers per trip.
