Beautiful scuba diving Safaga in Egypt
One of the most impressive drop offs to discover while diving in Safaga, Egypt. The spot is usually explored from the Northern plateau or the Southern Plateau. In either case you can see beautiful corals and a dense and varied underwater life. Remember to send a few glances in the blue because sometimes there are surprising encounters such as pelagics.
All scuba diving levels will enjoy this large dive site. It is also possible to have a snorkeling trips from Safaga to discover the diving spot. However, part of the site is particularly suitable for technical diving in Safaga. The site is about 60 minutes by boat from the city. Diving usually pairs with other sites nearby. Panorama is often considered one of the best dive sites of Safaga in Egypt.
Panorama on the North Plateau
A small current usually accompanies you on this drift diving which overhangs magnificent coral fields. Tiger cubs, tuna, barracudas, napoleons and tuna are often found here. Moreover, a great nicknamed Napoleon, the concierge is very curious and so to speak always present on the site.
Panorama on the South plateau
We usually go down directly from the boat to explore the southern part. A large fault is home to many gorgonians and a large family of GlassFish. At the level of the huge plateau, we discover beautiful blue stingrays, scorpion fish, moray eels, ballistae, turtles, tuna and sometimes even reef sharks. Remember to look in the blue from time to time. Note, at the landing, a superb nursery clown fish living in the midst of a multitude of anemone.
