Villa Almarik in Gili Trawangan, a beachfront island paradise

In a picture postcard setting, the Indonesian island of Gili Trawangan is located between the islands of Bali and Lombok. It welcomes all kinds of tourists from couples on honeymoon, backpackers, divers and many families. It is easily accessible by fast boat from Bali, or by plane and local transport from Lombok International Airport.

Villa Almarik sits on the edge of a beautiful white sand beach. This property was among the first established on the island and offers a very high level of comfort. Diving in the Gili Islands

Villa Almarik has its own PADI diving centre. You can choose to take a PADI dive course or explore the diving spots in the region if you are already a diver.

25 dive sites are located within 20 minutes of the resort. The marine landscapes are varied and include spectacular drop offs, underwater caves, coral gardens and even shipwrecks.

During your dives you may come across reef sharks, huge sea turtles, barracuda, Manta rays or even the giant oceanic sunfish. With dives varying from 5 to 40 meters it is easy to schedule two dives a day and still have time to explore the island or relax on the beach.
